Guideline for Presentation:
Once the abstracts are received, the organising committee will arrange the timetabling so that participants with research interests in similar areas will share a session. This will provide opportunities for networking, conversations and constructive questions during and after the session. Once numbers are finalised, the scheduling of the day and the sessions will be arranged. Participants will be emailed a copy of the timetable with an information sheet in advance of the Conference. There will be paper, posters and roundtable presentations in this conference.
Guideline for paper presenters:
The presentation rooms will be equipped with a laptop which will be connected to a visual display unit. The laptop will have access to the internet, however it is advisable to have your presentation (in whatever format you choose) saved to a USB key, or emailed to yourself. Ideally you will have had the chance to download and save your presentation to the desktop on the laptop in your designated room before your group's session begins to avoid delays between presentations. You will have a total of 15 minutes (ideally 10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions).
Guideline for poster presenters:
Posters can be up to size A0 and should be left at the registration desk. Posters will be displayed in a communal space throughout the conference, and they will be moved to the graduate school for poster presentation session which will be held from 5pm to 7pm on Friday, 15th June 2018.
Guideline for roundtable presenters:
We expect that each roundtable presentation will last in 20 minutes. In addition to your abstract, we recommend you prepare 3-5 discussion questions. Ideally, you can express your research within 5 minutes and discuss your research with attendees for 15 minutes.
